Microsoft supports Ukraine: free cloud services for Ukrainian users extended until the end of 2025
Microsoft continues to support Ukrainians in 2025 as part of the Microsoft for Ukraine Relief program.
“Ukrainian educational institutions, government agencies and both central and regional authorities will have access to Microsoft cloud products free of charge until the end of 2025. This decision will help strengthen the country’s digital resilience and protect government institutions in cyberspace,” said The Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The announcement adds that in 2023, the company provided technological assistance worth over $500 million, followed by an additional $100 million in 2024. This year, the support will remain at a similar level.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, Microsoft became one of the first international companies to stop providing services and new products in russia. The company continues to adhere to the sanctions against the aggressor state, supports investigations into war crimes against Ukraine’s population, and also helps strengthen the cyber defense of our state.
Previously, Microsoft also stopped renewing licenses for russian companies.
