Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central perpetual licenses will no longer be available for new customers from April 2025

Microsoft has announced that, starting April 1, 2025, it will no longer offer perpetual licenses for on-premises deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to new customers. From now on, users who wish to deploy the system on their company’s servers will only have access to the subscription-based licensing model.

These changes will not affect existing users who have installed the on-premises version of the ERP system before April 1, 2025. Such customers will still be able to use the full functionality of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
