Internship for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP Consultants successfully completed

Innoware has completed an internship for future ERP consultants dedicated to working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. We are always happy to open opportunities for those who want to start a career in ERP consulting and work with modern Microsoft business solutions.

Over the course of 2.5 months, participants completed an intensive online training program led by our experienced ERP consultants. The program combined theoretical training with many practical tasks, as close as possible to real projects.

During the internship, our future colleagues:

studied the functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central;
analyzed business processes and performed their settings in the system;
mastered training materials and completed homework;
participated in two-way Q&A sessions, underwent testing and presented the results of their work;
demonstrated the complete settings and received detailed feedback from mentors.

One of the key strengths of the internship was the dedication of Innoware’s mentors – experienced ERP consultants who conducted trainings, answered questions, checked homework and shared not only their expertise on working with the system, but also practical advice on conducting presentations, corporate communication, organizing training and developing the professional skills of trainees.

According to the results of the internship, the participants who demonstrated the best results and a desire to develop together with Innoware joined our team as consultants: four new colleagues started their careers in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central direction, two more – in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) and Power Platform direction.

The next stage of professional development awaits new colleagues: in-depth study of Microsoft solutions, project methodology, corporate standards and gradual involvement in client projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.

I found the hands-on assignments particularly valuable, as they helped me understand the essence of how ERP systems work and what ERP consultants do. Interacting with the mentors and fellow interns was pleasant and positive.

My main takeaway is that this is a field with an almost limitless amount of knowledge to explore. Every time, you discover a new aspect that you haven’t encountered yet while analyzing case studies. It’s really exciting!

After a 2.5-month internship, I realized that you should never lose faith in your abilities. If you have the motivation and the desire to learn something, you’re bound to succeed sooner or later.

I gained experience working with real business processes, learned how to configure the ERP system, conduct demonstrations for clients, and write technical specifications for development. I also realized the importance of communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

A friendly team, wonderful and patient mentors who provided detailed and constructive feedback – which meant that even when I didn’t complete a task perfectly, I still felt that I could learn everything, which is very important for an internship.

I came to understand what working with an ERP system is really like in practice, and how much depends on both technical knowledge and an understanding of business processes, communication, and the ability to quickly get to grips with new tasks.
