Since the beginning of the full-scale war in 2022, Microsoft has remained one of Ukraine’s key technology partners, assisting our country in the field of cybersecurity and providing resources to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical digital services. The total value of support provided by Microsoft to Ukraine has already exceeded $700 million.
As part of the support program, Microsoft continues to support Ukraine in several key areas:
provides free technology and cloud services that help government agencies, schools and public institutions operate continuously and accelerate the delivery of digital services;
strengthens the resilience of Ukraine’s digital infrastructure by enhancing the country’s cybersecurity in the face of ongoing cyberattacks;
supports non-profit and international organizations that aid Ukraine and document war crimes against civilians, providing them with modern technologies and data capabilities.
Microsoft is also investing in the long-term development of Ukraine’s digital capabilities. By supporting initiatives such as the CDTO Campus program, the company helps public sector leaders gain hands-on experience in using cloud technologies and AI to improve the quality of public services and strengthen cybersecurity, contributing to the development of digital government services and accelerating their implementation. More than 130 leaders of Ukraine’s digital transformation have already joined the CDTO Campus program.
“Digital transformation is an integral part of Ukraine’s European integration and for delivering better services to our citizens. Microsoft’s long-term partnership has helped Ukraine protecting critical digital infrastructure and ensuring the continuity of government under extraordinary circumstances. We highly value this continued support,” stated Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka.
“Our long-term partnership reflects our commitment to build a digital future for Ukraine. By extending our support through 2027, we are not only helping to maintain critical services today but are also supporting Ukraine’s continued transformation with trusted digital services that can build the basis for a secure and innovative economy,” said Jeff Bullwinkel, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Corporate External & Legal Affairs, Microsoft EMEA.
