Design and assortment
Solution retains and uses specific information for cable industry (length, diameter, specification, drum). Data import from cable design solution via CableBuilder.
Sales
Customer requests (length, quantity, drum options etc.) are accurately recorded to determine the sales price which includes the actual metal price/usage.
Purchase
Batch posting of metals price-lists are synchronized with exchange prices to hedge against fluctuating copper/aluminum prices. The supports the optimization of raw materials in purchase planning (including cutting waste, reserve stock, time buffer, best suppliers prices etc.).
Inventory
Accurate information about inventory and end product of stock, including the remnants of cable on drums. Special functionality decreases cut losses during unwinding of orders from the drums.
Manufacturing
Production planning including sales orders, inventory and production capacities. Optimum production orders sequencing (scheduling) minimize time for equipment settings improving overall efficiency.
Quality
Solution allows to arrange product test, register the results and generate quality certificate.
